eThrough a collaboration between WAFCC and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Division of Public Health (DPH), WAFCC is pleased to announce the availability of funding to support grants to:
The purpose of funds for both programs is to provide operational support to safety net clinics, thus increasing access to health care, with the goal of improving patient outcomes. Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) are not eligible to apply for either grant program.
Please note:
Important Note: The State has approved an increase to the allowable capital equipment expense limit. Expenditures are now allowed up to $10,000, replacing the $5,000 limit previously stated in the grant documentation.
Entities seeking to improve access to oral health care are strongly encouraged to apply for funding through the LIDC funding opportunity. Due to the availability of these funds, applications seeking funding for oral health care through the FCC funding opportunity will be prioritized lower than applications seeking funding for medical or behavioral health needs.
While WAFCC is the contracting agency for these funds, eligibility for grant funding is entirely separate and independent from WAFCC membership status. WAFCC membership is neither an eligibility criterion nor a scoring factor for these grants.
Questions? Please contact [email protected] for questions about the FCC grant, and [email protected] for questions about the LIDC grant. While individual questions will not be answered, a summary of Submitted Questions will be posted on this website no later than May 15, 2026.
The deadline to apply for both grant programs is May 29, 2026.
