FCC Nurse Training on Women's Health
First 40 member-clinic registrations will receive a $50 VISA Gift Card at the training and a chance to win $500 for their clinic to host a Women's Health Event!
Target Audience: All Safety Net registered nurses
CNEs: This activity has been submitted to WNA CEAP for approval to award contact hours. Wisconsin Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
4.5 contact hours will be awarded for successful completion.
Safety net clinics, in particular, free and charitable clinics, volunteer and staff RNs and Advance Practice RNs will be made aware of and utilize the most current evidence-based breast and cervical cancer prevention and detection techniques and be aware of the resources available should an abnormality be detected.
At the conclusion of the Women’s Health Updates educational event the participants will be able to:
• Self-report knowledge gained on evidence-based breast and cervical cancer identification and prevention techniques.
• Self-report knowledge gained on resources available to safety net patients when an abnormality is detected.
