In order to maintain compliance with state law, each standing committee of a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit board must be comprised of a minimum of three board members. WAFCC has six committees: Executive and Board Development; Finance; Government Relations/ Advocacy; Outreach; Quality Improvement; Strategic Planning. The Executive and Board Development Committee & Finance Committee are standing committees of WAFCC.
It is assumed Executive Director Dennis Skrajewski- or his staff designee- serves on all committees.
Board of Director positions are 3-year terms, and begin January 1st. WAFCC has six in-person board meetings per year (2nd Friday of Odd months from noon - 2pm). Active participation is expected of board members; we are a working volunteer board. If you are interested in becoming a board member, please complete the Board of Directors Application Form.
